The Anglo-American Real Property Institute 2010 Annual General Meeting takes place in Oxford from 23-26 September 2010.
Oxford, The City of Dreaming Spires, is famous the world over for its University and place in history. For over 800 years, it has been a home to royalty and scholars, and since the 9th century an established town, although people are known to have lived in the area for thousands of years.

| am | Blenheim Palace A guided tour of what is considered to be one of the finest baroque houses in the country. Blenheim Palace was a gift from Queen Anne and a grateful nation to John Churchill, 1st Duke of Marlborough, in recognition of his famous victory over the French at the Battle of Blenheim in 1704. Famed as the birthplace and childhood home of Sir Winston Churchill; it is now the home of the 11th Duke of Marlborough and is lived in and cared for by the family for whom it was built. Inside the Palace can be found a superb collection of tapestries, paintings, porcelain and furniture in the magnificent State Rooms. The Palace was created a World Heritage site in 1987. |

Guided Tour of Pitt Rivers MuseumFounded in 1884 when Lt Gen Pitt Rivers, an influential figure in the development of archaeology and evolutionary anthropology, gave his collection to the University. It has an impressive display of strange and beautiful objects that have been collected from all over the world by travellers, officers and students. Mummies, masks and toys are just some of the amazing objects that fill this three storey building. |
